I had wanted to track all the hardware, and build mecha from them. But there is a deluge of new hardware, most of which I am not even aware of.
A much more fun subset would be home game console hardware! And that would give a different meaning to the term “console wars”.
Storage, memory, CPU, all these things contribute to stats for a mecha build-out, with different versions of a single console release being different loads (think: PS3 versus PS3 Slim, or whatever they are).
Start from the beginning, when mecha are crude and smash into each other, and build up each generation until they are shooting lasers and initiating orbital strikes.
