The gods tried to destroy us, subdue our will. We fucking destroyed them. Now we liberate worlds.

They destroy AI wherever they find it.

This was a premise for a D&D4 campaign, which started at Paragon or Epic level. The idea was to marry the fiction to the mechanics, in a sorta fantasy-gonzo genre, where the party belongs to a multidimensional task force to identify worlds influenced by “gods”, and then “liberate” them (meaning kicking the asses of so many gods and their followers).

I don’t think it needs to be particularly deep, just a kitchen sink approach to playing D&D like Warhammer (am I the only one that really liked the presentation of D&D4?).
