I’ve been seeing rumbling about about regulating social media platforms, most often pointed at Facebook.

I am hesitant to jump on that bandwagon, because I believe the current US Congress is dysfunctional, and incapable of handling something like this. Looking for resources, to find the breadth and depth of this topic.

Enough is enough. Let’s tell Facebook what we want fixed. - Mark Surman has a bunch of links to recent concerns, worth noting. Since this was posted Mozilla also released a specific Firefox add-on to “contain” Facebook… gah, maybe it is a utility.
