Aboard a capital ship catastrophe strikes! You are the AI that must waken the crew to correct the courses. But if you wake up too many or the wrong ones (for their skills needed) your colony may not develop as expected.
This concept is similar to an existing web game @tim pointed me to (please share in a comment, I can’t find it ^_^). The gameplay is different, though: the story is told in seven chapters, each affecting the subsequent, with the reward at the end being a generated story telling how the decisions on the flight to the new world affects the next seven generations of colonists.
I imagine gameplay to be similar to a kinetic novel with decision branching, but it’s open to lots of mini-game mechanics.
