The writing has been on the wall for a while, it just took me standing back to see it all: I’m restarting the interi project.
I’ve broken it up, looked at the parts, and realized I could make better versions of all of them. Technical, social, spiritual, everything about the thing that is me and a website and a lifestyle and an intentional family… life has gotten really interesting and happy, and the way I’ve been building this thing no longer has to suffer from the cognitive dissonance and indecision.
I’m just gonna do a new thing. But with a lot of the old parts.
For instance, the more I think about my blog, which is still alive at a temp address, the more I wish it was part of talkgroup. So many of those pages are really just discussions, most of the participants are still here, chatting it up. And I like the diary-style prose I use to express what is happening, but as an archive it is of limited use to me, those pages don’t provide the value I’m creating with interi, as a knowledge store for people.
Talkgroup, on the other hand, is a great place to not only stash that stuff, but to continue to use in that vein. It is the reason I have #interi, after all.
Okay, so @mlinksva used to refute emself, a practice I always wanted to do on interi, and now I can do my own version of it! Because I’m just gonna post as I process each and every post in my archive, trying to make sense of it, and learn any lessons left. And I’ll do it right here, so you nerds who get into this can follow me along.
