Our food table is next to our balcony windows. Natural light on my food helps me connect with the moment.
This morning we had a particularly hardy breakfast! Egg and potatoes with barley and refried beans! I was going through leftovers, but also learning what the iron pan is capable of, as well as things I’d prefer to not cook in it. 
Did you know there is a knitting group that meets on Thursdays at Oakland Lakeview Library?
Clover knows! There were a lot of folks there, and they welcomed C in and taught em a thing or two! Maybe we’ll go back, I’m not sure. I think I should be more involved, but I don’t particularly want to knit with other people… 
They also have a battery recycling bin! Go libraries!
