Been kinda depressed the past couple of days. Mostly failing at my own strategies for coping with the greater world. Redoubling efforts to level myself off.
Finished The Dispossessed by Ursula Le Guin. It had been on my bucket list forever. Kinda feel embarrassed I never got around to reading it till now. I adored it.
Over the previous weekend we discovered our garbage disposal’s gasket broke, and had been leaking water onto the particle board beneath it.
Maint. replaced the disposal, and returned the next day to replace the wood, this time with a sturdy piece of lumber.
They have running water again at the Gardens at Lake Merritt!
We interi feel empowered by the rush and energy of running water!

It had a really deep impact on me, so much so that I kind of jumped into this new phase of my understanding without stopping to report back.
