#logs are like JRPG replays. We all check in, and then we have not a narrative, but a script of what we were doing.

The Dead Farm

Oh no! You’ve been defeated! Normally a mighty necromancer like you would have no problem after-livin’ large, what with all that death energy you’ve been collecting! Just one problem: those mortals have learned a thing after an undead invasion or four, and those damned divine weapons they used have scattered your memories to the eight corners of the world!

To make things worse, there are loads of enemies between you and your precious memories. And they all seem to remember exactly what you did.

But hey, the dark powers aren’t gonna leave one of our highest level assets in a lurch! Despite your utter failure in the mortal realm, we’ve provisioned a nice little farm and cottage for you to retire to, in relative safety. Sure, it isn’t the grandeur you surrounded yourself with in life, but what do you remember? Ha!

Farming simulator in the afterlife, where as a powerful necromancer you get a nice safe farm, but your true power is out there somewhere, behind leagues of enemies and wonky afterlife stuff.

Slime Rancher + Rune Factory, with a medley aesthetic drawing on everything humans believe about death.

Directory of cannabis things

There are a bunch of cannabis databases posing as advertisement platforms, but they still have relevant information. Not only should that data about plant life be hosted better, we should use this massive amount of quantitative (measured % of whatever) and qualitative (good for depression, increases paranoia) and build really awesome crafting systems in games!

Could you imagine how much more fun LOTRO farming would be if you were trying to get a certain strain, based on real data! So fun.

I had this idea to build a MUD where everyone is a herbalist, and you go out and beat up fluffy monsters that live near different herb patches, but the game actually lists information such as growing process and types of soil, all based on real data.

And then I thought we could all start logging cannabis stuff in MUDs, and I was pretty happy for a bit.

Sage advice: don’t get behind folks, that’s where their farts are.

Clover will learn…

Recipes should be encoded to easily convert to different measurement systems.

OMFG this is gonna bug me:

Sparklings, eventually may level, sparks become legendary templates

OMFG! I DO REMEMBER WHAT THAT IS! HA! HAHAHAHA!

Sometimes a person will make themselves busy to avoid dealing with an uncomfortable truth.

Does society scale this behavior?

Eventually I’ll be able to point to various talkgroups as examples of how a project goes. This will help demonstrate alternatives to slicing your ID up and handing it to corps. We just talk, like slightly normal people.

One possible tactic: encourage free time. Encourage relaxation, to create the space to think.

At this point, more people are turned on by compression socks than non-compression socks. Just sayin’!

“Industry standards” is a capitalist term.

If one clicks on a URL and it loads a page that tracks a person, that is a “broken link”.

Our family is on the “access road” track of life. We’re right beside the highway, and going in the same direction. But it is a lot bumpier, we can’t possibly go as fast, and we can stop and play any time we want.
