I often find I connect with some sitcomms more intensley and for longer than any other form of TV. Mainly because I find that things that inject cheer can often win more media-consumption-loyalty from me in the long haul.
I usually cant latch onto many at once. But once I have latched onto one I will follow it to the ends of the earth usually.
One Day At A Time did this for me in spades while also bringing in some much needed representation into the genre. Not just in terms of characters but also in terms of subject matter. Its far from perfect. But I addored the show. Kinda relieved there will be more of it to consume.
