The folks who made the GCW-Zero are trying to buy Atari. This is interesting to me, but only because it is an open portable game console group trying to buy one of the oldest, and perhaps most cursed, names in video gaming.
I don’t like Atari games, and I dislike branding, so I won’t be supporting them. But if you want to get a GCW-Zero, you can order one as part of their fund-raising. I haven’t received mine yet, but I expect it to be awfully fun, and you should have one to play with me. 
You know, now that I am thinking about it, it would appeal to me if they did buy Atari. I would rather they have it than the next doomed software company that will run it into the ground. It would make an interesting chapter in history of that company. Also, I might order another GCW-Zero!
