Technical writing, condense it

The ideas in most nonfiction books are not so complicated that they require hundreds of pages to argue well–usually a 20 minute Ted Talk suffices.

Now that we’re in a post print world (or at least many of us are) and kindles prevail, I think we can readjust the content length to fit the complexity of idea. I would actually pay more for a 15-50 page version of a book than a 300 page version.

I totally agree. Some of the best books I’ve read so far on Go are quite short.
