Uber's response to Immigration Ban

Continuing the discussion from Companies against Immigration and Refugee Ban:

Regarding Uber’s opposition and subsequent backlash, TYT has an informative (with opinions) segment:

The next day Uber posted their plan to assist drivers affected by the ban. That is interesting, because Uber doesn’t employ drivers, and has spent years in court demonstrating how much they are not beholden to drivers.

Personally, I stopped using Uber when they began tracking phones after the ride.

Here’s hoping they are helpful to those drivers. @judytuna, more thoughts on this?
