Websites on my mind

I filled a notebook, and instead of buying a new one I’m committed to using the paper I have. I reached for a notebook that only had a couple of pages used, but I’ve carried around for over a decade. And it shows…

I have five lists there:

  • cogmotive .com
    • store
    • project
  • .org
    • weblog
    • wiki
    • forum
    • e-mail
    • shorty
  • .net
    • professional network
    • job board
  • interi .org
    • weblog
    • wiki
    • forum
    • email
    • shorty
    • email lists
  • teamオタク .net
    • weblog
    • file hosting
    • shorty
    • forum
    • email

And of course, Onion-sama (not -chan! I made that mistake…)

Lots to unpack there. Let’s play interi-bingo!

Which of those services do I now run, and what is it called?! :face_with_monocle:

Pretty sure shorty was the name of a specific URL-shortening app.

Wow, there is a > 0 chance that I was there for those notes.

I loved teamotaku!

@tim, what were we planning on selling via cogmotive?! Like… service contracts?

I think it was going to be like a store marketplace thing where our creators could easily sell things. Like art and stuff.

Oh yeah! We were an “art technology collective”. We had artists that might sell things online…

I’m obviously not an artist selling things, as I still think this is a good idea, whereas I believe most people want to put their stuff on a “marketplace”.

Oh well. If I ever produce a thing to be bought aside from service contracts, I’ll totally rock my own platform.
