Here is the brief synopsis on my novel page for NaNoWriMo:
The world as they know it is dying. Magic has faded, but so has life, everywhere they look. Rumors are spreading, and people are gathering in the greatest cities on the planet. Driven by need and desperation, millions of people flock to the promise of something better.They are crushed to learn that the rumors were baseless, and the governments of the world have no idea what is happening, nor can they handle the sudden influx of people. Conflict is brewing, plots are being hatched, and refugee camps are spreading like the plague they bring with them. It seems like the world has reached its tipping point…
And then they are taken to another.
