Good term to mimic in a story sometime. Testing someones mental abilities in a Zener machine, etc.

I have notes for a pen and paper RPG one shot where players had low level ESP and psionic powers and are trapped in a research facility gone amuck; It had a task resolution system based on Zener cards. I still wanna dust it off one day.
