Visited the Berkeley Aquatic Park during a different errand, and am now sneaking in sewers beneath a coliseum to prevent an execution, so all around pretty fun!

there were little duckling puffballs!! 12 in one pack. 3 brown and 9 yellow. they bobbed up and down with every ripple because they were so small. the big ducks glided about serenely and the little babies were like WOAH WOAH WOOOOOO
playgrounds are interesting. what are the interactions? kid to kid, kid to their adult, kid to another kid’s adult, one kid’s adult to another kid’s adult. teenagers are a wildcard and don’t interact with the kids or their adults but they love the swings as much as kids.
c said “you’re a kid” to me with a note of finality and i do consider that a compliment, but also what does it mean? that i’m unwilling to say no? that i lack discipline? it’s true that i don’t want to adult. it’s kinda fascinating that c picks up on that.
