Minio, an object storage server

Minio is used to store data for “cloud applications and devops”. That is fancy, certainly, but I just use it to store backups, and large binary files I want to point at, like images, videos, audio or weird large data files.

Heavily influenced by the way people use Amazon S3, it is compatible with the S3 v4 APIs. This has made it an attractive target as a cloud storage endpoint for several free software projects.
